The Billingham L2 Alice is a small bag that I find just right for carrying my Canon EOS 20D or 10D with a medium zoom attached, and plenty of room on one side for a larger zoom. It could accommodate several primes or a p/s as an alternative. The bag's external dimensions are 10.5 x 5.75 x 7.75", Internal dimensions are 9 5/8 x 4 1/4 x 5 3/4" and it weighs 1.54 pounds.
The L2Alice in black with black trim. It also comes in olive or khaki with brown trim. THe closure is a flap that fastens with leather tabs that are attached to the body of the bag. When the bag is opened, there is nothing on the top flap to be bulky against the body when the flap is folded back. The bag has metal "feet" on the bottom, and no exterior pockets.

When the bag is opened, the flap has two "rain shiields" on each end that fold in automaticallly when the bag is closed.

The L2 bag is shown here with Canon EOS 20D and Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens attached. On the left side is a 70-300 DO IS with hood reversed. Several separaters came with the bag, and one is positioned here between the camera with lens pointed down and the zoom on the left. There is room under the camera next to the attached lens, for small items, or to fold up the strap.

Bag interior shown with camera and lens positioned sideways. Room on the left for a second lens or p/s camera. My Canon G3 fits here nicely or a smaller lens. . Between the padded liner and the bag's shell are two full length open spaces or pockets (front and back side) with room for billfold, glasses, small folding umbrella, or camera accessories.

The Billingham L2 (image on the left) measures 10.5 x 5.75 x 7.75 inches exterior, and 9 5/8 x 4 1/4 x 5 3/4 interior .
It weighs 1.54 lbs. and is very convenient to work out of, and balances nicely.
