Equipment list in bag:
Fujifil HS20EXR
Kiev 4 Camera

There are very few reviews (other than German) of this fine bag, so I decided to make my own.

This bag was a must have the first time I saw it. It's design is just marvellous. It doesn't shout "camera inside!" and it has a sort of "sahafar/adventurer" looks, which attracted me most.

But it's not the looks that matters the most when it comes to camera bags. It should be practical, comfortable and protect you camera gear. I've had it for only a few days now, but I think it does it's job very well. The padding is quite thick and stiff (especially at the bottom, which is also detachable, so you can take it out, if you don't want such a stiff bottom). The manufacturer says it's waterproof, but haven't tested it yet (although I'm not planning on swimming with it). I has plenty of pockets (around 14). The shoulder strap is rubberized (so it won't fall off easily), and it's very comfortable.

When I was looking for a camera bag, it was important for me that the bag isn't too big, but large enough for a A4 sketchbook which fits in this bag just fine.

I would definitely recommend this bag.

Design, good protection, it's comfortable.

Could be cheaper.

Additional Info

  • Description: (German Translation) The wear comfortable companion for the photo report, the Visitor Center or as the base case. The narrow shape and wearing close to the body axis to make the "wherever you go" for fun. Ideal for the laterally loaded SLR with mounted lens (without battery pack), additional lenses up to 2,8 / 70-200mm and a great system flash unit. The six sides, six front and one back pocket (28x19cm for guidance, writing pad, etc.) offer plenty of room for accessories and keep order. Interesting, especially the two side pockets next to the shoulder strap that can accommodate small tripod, small water bottles, a can of tennis balls or slightly rolled photo paper space. The variable, well-padded dividers in the main compartment can be individually adjusted by Velcro. With adjustable shoulder strap and removable shoulder pad. Conclusion: Even without a photo organizer - by many additional practical pockets - a welcome companion for sports, school, work, vacation.
