Cambags helps photographers choose a camera bag using practical specifications, real packing photographs and the experiences of people who have carried the bags themselves.

How reviews and ratings work

Owner contributions can include written experience, equipment lists, photographs and optional ratings for comfort, features, build and price. The displayed score is the average of contributions that contain a rating. Because photographs and useful written contributions do not always include scores, the number of ratings can be lower than the number of owner contributions.

Archive contributions

Some contributions were preserved from the former Cambags website. They retain their historical public author names and dates and are labelled as archive contributions. They are not automatically linked to newly created accounts, and Cambags does not invent missing ratings or review text.

Moderation and corrections

New contributions are reviewed before publication. Moderation focuses on relevance, safety, spam prevention and protecting personal information rather than changing an owner's genuine opinion. Use the report control beside a contribution or contact Cambags to request a correction or raise a concern.
