After much internal debate, I decided to purchase Crumpler's new 6 Million Dollar Home. It's one of their new shoulder bags; this one replaces the Next Venue. It's a nice design, but I had a couple of issues with the bag and ultimately returned it. This is not to say that you won't like the bag. Simply, I thought another bag would be more suitable for me. I'm still looking for a replacement, and will send pictures of the bag I decide to get--probably one of Crumpler's new photo backpacks. So what are my issues with the 6 Million Dollar Home? First, there is no padding on the top of the bag. There is ample padding everywhere else, but curiously none on the top flap. I could just imagine accidentally cracking my camera's LCD. Second, the 6 Million Dollar Home, as attractive as it is, looks more like a "camera bag" than the "Next Venue." Now this is my personal opinion, and yours may differ. Other than those two points, I think its a real nice bag. It's roomy, allowing to fit the D70 with kit lens attached. For exact dimensions and number of items that will fit in the bag, see
