The Formal Lounge and Farmers Double have Original 1000d Chicken Tex" hyper performance accessory fabric with waterproof ripstop lining, plus an extra padded laptopsleeve with additional pocket for papers. There are two easy access front zip pockets and the lower part is for photo equipment, computer gear or accessory storage, accessible via the strong, oversized zip. The upper part can be used for all other travelling and/or work gear. The dr bodenschatz back hugger makes light work of heavy loads. Pouches can be attached using the external side loops. There are super strong shoulderstraps and a chest strap for fine adjustment, plus further loops for pouch attachment. got the Farmers Double because I wanted a bag to take my laptop and papers to work each day and to take my D70 out on the weekends. I also need to take the laptop and camera as carry on luggage for my monthly trip from Hong Kong back to Australia. The Farmers Double meets all of these requirements and is comfortable for the daily commute to work on the train. It is the mid size in the range with the Formal Lounge as the smaller sibling and Brian’s Hot Tub the big brother. The Farmers Double will take my Nikon D70 with kit lens, a Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6G, a 50mm prime and flash in the bottom section. This leaves the top section for laptop/papers and cables/power-packs etc. The front pocket has room for filters, cards and spare batteries. About the only thing this bag is missing is some way of strapping on a tripod for hiking. I have the Gitzo 1027 carbon fibre tripod which is small enough to fit in the laptop section but any larger tripod would be a hassle.
