KATA's HB-207 Hiker Backpack features a level of protection you haven't seen before; KATA's TST protection safeguards the camera compartment and the bottom of the case while keeping it light. I opted for the KATA HB-207 as the "finally get something that fits it all" backpack. I take it to my office in Manhattan by setting it on a luggage carrier (it comes with an insert-trolly pocket on the back side). Also, there is a reverseable rain/sun cover that even covers the tripod and monopod. That'll keep your office workers guessing as to what you just brought in. It also is slightly rigid to offer great protection. Here are some views:
