I bought this bag as one in a series of unsuccessful purchases, and ended up returning this bag. It fit my gear OK, but hanging on my shoulder it felt awkward and bulky. I also found I would be traveling to a foreign country and decided to go with the Keen Alameda 15 for a more discrete look. lowepro nova 180 aw . front of bag closed As you can see in the photos the bag has a multitude of pockets including a flat one on the back, a flat one on the flap, and a large divided one behind the flap. It has a handy rain cover tucked into the bottom which seemed pretty well designed and useful. I bought a new bag to begin with because I added the battery grip to my D90 and it no longer fit in my top loader. With that, the camera fit OK with the rather compact 18-200 and only a 35mm f/1.8 and my charger. No room for much else. What was more frustrating was that the pads and dividers provided seemed perfectly useless for dividing the compartment in a usable way. Perhaps it was just my gear, but I could not set up the dividers to hold my camera and still have any useful space left. You can see in the photos that by making a 45 corner pocket I was able to salvage some space, but the dividers were just not intuitive at all. Part of the difficulty was that there is not velcro on the entire inside just in strips in certain spots. In the end this was just not the bag for me. I would submit it is not the bag for anyone with a battery grip or a pro SLR period. It has some nice features but its bulkiness is deceptive as it just doesn't seem to have much room on the inside.
