About this bag

The Omni Trekker convertible backpack/shoulder bag fits into the waterproof Trekker Extreme hard case (Pelican® 1550). It has a unique removable/hide-away backpack harness; rugged metal hardware; a reverse-open lid; front and top zippers (so you can grab gear even when it's inside the Trekker Extreme case); removable tripod straps; laminated mesh pockets; padded, contoured shoulder strap; and fully customizable interior.

From Front Left, working clockwise. Nikon N80 Body, no lens. Many Cokin "P" Filters Nikon 18-70mm Lens Small spot for Polarizer Filters Tamron AF 28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 XR Misc Compartment, Cokin "P" hood, adapter rings, step up/down rings,spare battery, misc. another misc compartment, Silica bag, small table top tripod, etc. SB-800 in its own bag, with filters and stand Nikon D70 body with Nikon 70-200mm VR f/2.8 lens Above are misc pockets for cleaning supplies, Cable shutter release (For N80) a few good books etc.

In the bag

. I normally have it packed with the 20D, 100-400, 400 prime, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM, 105 Macro, 50mm, 28-75, portable drive, Rocket blower, hoods, filters, doodads & thingamabobs, batteries, etc. It's generally packed a bit more than this pic.

I use a Lowepro Omni Trekker and really like it. It has been great for travelling with all my gear. I carried it on several trips in the last couple of months and it does a great job of protecting the camera and lenses.

In the bag

Canon 300D Digital Rebel Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM and a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L USM along with a Canon 550EX Speedlite flash and several other lenses (3 more), filters, and all the general stuff we all carry or want to carry.
