This two-compartment backpack is great for 35mm or digital video camera equipment plus clothing, water and snacks. Ideal for day hikes, the Orion Trekker has a padded harness with sternum strap and mesh-covered backpad for all-day comfort. The camera compartment has the protection of high-density, closed-cell foam padding and compression straps to keep everything stable and secure.

The Camera top compartment has enough space for a (rain)jacket and some extra things, I keep my image storage device in here. Inside the top part is a small water proof pocket for some small things which have to stay 100% dry for sure. At the outside there is a pocket for some quick reach things. Positive points: compact, good and strong material used, fits well and has good adjustable belts. Doesn’t really look like a photo backpack, which can be a positive point in countries where they love to ‘borrow’ your camera gear (Netherlands here...) Down points: not suited when you need to reach your camera quickly, not all weather proof (for the price some would expect) No way to connect your tripod/ monopod to it. Conclusion for me personally, happy with this compact day trip style bag, but already looking for a bigger size which is more suited for the longer photo trips.
