On the inside cover there are 3 zippered pockets and in them I have 3 BP-511 and 3 BP-511a batteries, 2 SanDisk Ultra II Compact Flash cards (one is 2.0gb the other is Ultra II 512mg) and 8 Energizer AA 2500 mAh NiMH batteries. On the outside there are two pockets, in the one outside pocket there is a Motorola Cell Phone, a Magellan GPS, some paper work, and a Compass. In the other outside pocket is for a future laptop but now I have a cleaning kit, a can of compressed air, USB cable, Video (RCA) cable, Canon AC adapter, a Canon battery charger and the Camera manual. In the inside there is usually a Canon EOS 10D with a Sandisk CF 512mg card and a Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 lens but they were taken out to take the photo :+) I used to only use a Lowepro Nova 3 bag but, I wanted 1 bag to carry all in a comfortable position. With all the weight of the equipment combined I needed a backpack that was at least water resistant and big enough to have my largest lens mounted. I am still very happy with my Nova 3 so I decided to stick with Lowepro. The Lowepro Photo Trekker Classic met that requirement and more. I really liked its colors of Forest Green and Black, great for blending in with nature. Its shoulder straps are comfortable seeing how the bag when loaded with my equipment is over 35lbs. They are padded, also the waistbelt and back is padded (which really helps). It has a handle on top for just grabbing and throwing in the car (ok, I don't throw it). There is a shoulder strap also so this bag can be carried in a number of ways. It has straps on the bottom to mount other things like my tripod, which comes in real handy. The inside is customizable, in that all the support and separating walls can be moved to accommodate the way you want it.
