I mostly use a Mountainsmith Parallax Backpack style camera bag. I typically shoot sports (Mountain Bike Races mostly) and will use all my lenses in a day of racing outdoors in all sorts of conditions. I like the access through the side nearest the user. It avoids the expensive embarrassment of forgetting to close the bag and dropping a lens to the ground. I really like this bag as it is very high quality, is long and narrow and fits my torso really well. I think that the fit between the photographer and the bag is just as important as the amount of equipment it can carry around. Use a bag that does not fit right, it will not get used. I tend to carry everything (including the kitchen sink) and this bag can easily carry four lens, two bodies, one or two flashes in the main area. Additionally, the front pocket area can carry one or three camera batteries, a bunch of rechargeable AA's for the flash, media storage, and a couple of filters. I will use this bag at races were I cannot just run back to the car for other equipment. I will typically spend three to four hours out walking the course for different shots / lighting. This fits my shoulders really well, which is really important as I have a really messed up right should from a crash (that's why I'm taking the pictures rather than racing). I would highly recommend this bag for somebody that needs to take a lot of equipment outdoors and actually have to walk around with it. The only problem is I can fill it up enough that it will weigh over 35 pounds
