Shimoda Core Unit DSLR L v3-B

Modular DSLR L v3-B camera insert for compatible Shimoda bags. Backpack sold separately. Features - EVA-laminated walls and adjustable dividers. - Removable skin for storage or packing-cell use. Included Core Unit, adjustable dividers and removable storage skin. Camera equipment and backpack are not included. Shimoda bag compatibility Side-access match for Shimoda Action X v3 35L, 40L and 50L. The feature list says Action X v3 only and excludes the smaller side-access doors of Explore v1/v2 and Action X v1/v2. Specification notes - Compatibility is recorded only within the Shimoda system. Physical fit and side-access-door alignment are separate requirements; neither is inferred for another brand. - Manufacturer internal measurements describe the nominal insert envelope; dividers and equipment shape reduce usable packing space. Manufacturer carry examples are not Cambags packing verification. - The overview additionally mentions X70, Carry-On and DV rollers, which conflicts with the feature-list restriction to Action X v3 only. Those additional pairings need manufacturer clarification and are not treated as verified compatibility. Sources - https://shimodadesigns.com/shimoda-core-unit-dslr-l-v3-b/ Checked 3 November 2026.
