I was looking for a bag that would work well as airline carry-on but give me a lot more storage than my Lowepro Slingshot 200 AW. I very nearly got the Lowepro Vertex 200 but discovered the Think Tank at the last minute and thought that would be better for airline restrictions. For the intended purpose it meets my needs perfectly. The pictures show a 12.1" laptop placed on top of the included laptop slip case and also a 17" Dell XPS M1710 squeezed into the bag but not quite fitting completely. The weight, filled as depicted, is 11Kg without the laptop and 13.6Kg with the 12.1" laptop and slip case included. It sits comfortably and has plenty of spare dividers to customise the interior layout as needed.
What works
Perfect balance between sizing for airline cabin baggage and yet substantial capacity for photographic gear. Seems very well constructed. Option to remove the laptop bag is a nice touch to save weight and size - not possible with any other (similar) bags as far as I know.
Room for improvement
A bit lacking in organised exterior pockets for things like filters, batteries, memory cards and other knick-knacks. The laptop slip case cannot be secured into the outside pocket - it sticks out at the top and could be whipped out in a second by a thief. I don't understand why the pocket cannot be zippered to fully enclose the laptop.

The triggers and OC cord are located under the 70-200mm which is raised from the bottom of the case on two of the supplied dividers. Other necessary odds and ends are squirreled away in various nooks and crannies.
Loaded, the bag weighs a ton but it's about the most compact solution I've found for transporting a 200-400mm based system.

Very well crafted backpack. Comes with many dividers so you are able to configure it any way you want. Wears very comfortable on your back. There are also two hand straps, one on top and one on the side. It has a separate 15" laptop case you can put in the front side and a rain cover. It will fit my 200-400mm f/4 with body attached.
What works
Very well made, many configurations possible, wears comfortably, fits all international carry on requirements when the laptop case is removed.
