About this bag

One prominent magazine photographer calls the F-7 "the photojournalist's dream bag." Built to carry two complete professional 35mm setups, the F-7 has room for two big SLR's with motor drives and zooms attached, plus everything else you'll need on the job. An included adjustable belt system works with the Gripper Strap to keep even a fully- loaded F-7 snug against your hip. Features Fourteen compartments and pockets. Three Padded Inserts include: two large single-compartments for cameras, and a two-compartment for extra lenses. Adjustable Gripper Strap runs completely around bag, double-tracked on bottom for added strength and support. Removable, adjustable belt features side-release buckle and accessory/key clip. Removable padded floor support and four-point suspension carrying handle included. Three see-through mesh accessory pockets sewn into oversized weather flap.

I'm selling the F-1x and keeping the F-7AF, but some people may like the shorter height of the F-1x over the F-7AF. Either way, I chose the F-7AF as my main bag because of the height and pocket-LESS back. This bag doesn't come close to being full. The height of the F-7AF is ideal for the 580EX II and 430EX in their respective case and the Lowepro Filter Pouch.

Overall, this is a GREAT bag! I got it to replace me beloved National Geographic Medium Shoulder bag that couldn't handle two 1D's (or 2 cams with grips for that matter) without feeling that it was going to burst at the seams. The canvas on this bag is a little more rigid, but I hear the more you use them, the more they tend to soften up and wear in. The only thing I would change about it is the clasps that hold the top flap down (to close the bag). When I have it packed full, with lenses on - it's kind of hard to pull it closed. There isn't really any way to make them longer or shorter like most bags have. I found an easy fix to this problem tho, just buy a couple of cheap-o small D-Rings (Carabieners) to extend it a couple inches. Thanks to Brandon ( on POTN) for review
