after I ran out of room in the micro trekker 100 I upgraded to this bag. its got lots of room compaired and although it doesnt fit 100% of my gear it carries enough to get me by on pretty much any outting.
Its fairly comfortable to haul a decent amount of weight and its got a sternum strap and waist strap
I wish the waist strap was removable like it was on the micro 100 and that the strernum straps would stay in place.
I use this bag for short hiking's and such, the bag is great for the price I paid the only bad thing about it is the shoulder straps. The weight itself isn't much of a problem (yet). I'll probably upgrade to a Lowepro Pro Trekker in the future so I can fit my D70+18-70+D2x. I'm glad I'm still young, if I were older it'd be a pain to carry this thing around. :)
Cheap, can hold a lot of stuff
The shoulderstraps isn't that great, wish there were some kind of padding.
Had to find something to house my "Beast" (70-200) for the time being, so I picked up the Lowepro Mini Trekker Classic. Not bad for the price. The pack does not resemble a regular photo backpack, so that's a plus. Holds everything that you see here plus room for another body and two lenses or three more lenses. Zippers feel sturdy and all around padding is sufficient. As usual, the dividers are velcor, so repositioning them is a breeze. I may want to get osem velcro strips later to aide in keeping everything put jsut in case. Plenty of storage for odds and ends. I fit my 15" laptop into the larger outer pocket (although no padding for it there), after carressing the zipper closed. Has a waist belt, chest belt, and mesh backing. The shoulder straps are alright, not the most comfy, but it'll do. Two compression straps on each side of the pack to help keep the innards in just in case a zipper was ever to come undone (*cough* Tamrac *cough*. There's one more pocket on the outside for a windbreaker or some other small goodies. It's not the AW version, but I don't plan on going out on any rainy days anyways. But if I do, I'll be sure and carry a plastic bag with me. The pack does not resemble a regular photo backpack, so that's a plus. Anyways, so that's my quick review of this bag. Seems like it's a winner so far.
