from bottom left to right...I have NiMH rechargable AA batteries in a drawstring bag (A). The batteries are for my SB-800 Speedlight (B). In the center partition is my D70 with my Sigma 27-135mm attached (C). To the right (D), I have my lens hoods on top of my Sigma 50mm macro lens. I keep the 55mm hood for the macro lens in that grey bag along with the camera body cap, that way the damn metal construction of that lens hood doesn't make a racket! Finally, I have my Sigma 17-35mm F2.8-4 EX DG wide angle lens (E). nikon d70

I've been using this bag for several years, purchased before "all weather" became the norm. It actually started out as a camcorder bag, but the Nova 5 I was using for my camera gear was a little too big for the kit I carried most. With some reconfiguring I can fit a 70-200mm f/2.8 IS in the bag, horizontally, but I have to sacrifice some things. The bag will also perfectly fit the 70-200 attached to the camera, if that and one other lens is all I need. Although professional products from Think Tank and others are tempting, it's hard to deny something that has served its purpose well. My only real complaint is the shoulder strap, which is permanently attached and non-swivelling.

It's a Canon EOS 20D with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM lens. The Sigma lens is a 12-24 one. The flashgun is either a Canon 580EX Speedlite or 420EX (not sure if I had bought the 580 when I took the photo) and the small thing in the middle is a Canon EF 2X Extender . canon 20d
