This bag is probably nearly perfect for day to day use, when you don't want, or need a backpack, but still want a good amount of equipment. It is comfortable to carry for extended periods, has reasonable padding on the main strap, and is nice to use. The main compartment has room for 2 bodies, one at either end, and up to 4 normal sized lenses (3 or 4 if you use large f2.8 lenses) in the central section. The bag has 2 fairly large pockets at either end, plus there is a useful front pocket, along with an extra pocket behind that one for storing memory cards etc. The 2 pockets in the main lid are probably better for storing cards etc though, as i tend to forget that the extra pocket is there! The bag lid/top offers the choice of either doing the zips up fully, or just doing the 4 clips up instead. Both systems work, although the zips are better in the rain! The bag also has 2 straps for a medium sized tripod to be carried at the front/bottom of the bag. I've been using mine for around 3 years, and it hasn't let me down yet.

I have a Tamrac Pro 8 bag that can get quite heavy when fully loaded. I also have a small Nikon bag when I only need to carry a flash or lens with the camera. The Tamrac can easily hold a Nikon D70 / 18-70mm and F80/24-85. Under each camera are two other compartments that hold my 105 micro and Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6G. The center compartments can hold a SB-800, DR-3, 50mm f/1.8, battery charger and cord. There are two end pockets that hold filters on one end and a SC-17 at the other. The front flap holds a lens pen, note pad, pen, lens and body caps, etc. Under the top lid is another see through zippered compartment and inside the lid, accessible when closed, is a slide out zippered pocket for film or whatever. The back of the bag has another zippered pocket for papers, manuals, etc. A very capable bag indeed. Bag tag... D70 Plus lenses.... D70+F80 cameras .....
