My new Think Tank Retrospective 30 bag has just arrived from Morris Photos (UK) and I think it's the last of the current UK supply. I'm sure there's a load more to follow. I've been a long time Think Tank photo fan, I have an Urban Disguise 40 and 60 and i've owned my 40 long enough to see it get quite roughed up. When I first started to use these bags, i had to import them directly from the USA. These days, there's 3/4 good UK suppliers and they seem to be at every advertising event, which can't be bad. Ok, I went for the Retrospective 30 because I'm a prime lens lover and I need lots of places to store smaller lenses in. Pinestone IS the colour to get. It's so stylish and retro. Most bags cater for f2.8 zoomsters (like the lenschangers and the 10 & 20 bags), which isn't my bag (sorry for the pun) but this is the daddy if you want to pack a pair of DSLR's and a host of primes. Currently I'm loaded with a pair of 5DII's, a 24IIL, 35L, 50L, 85IIL, 100 macro, 135L and a 16-35IIL. Plus a 580 ex flash for emergencies. My iphone, spare batteries, cards etc fit in this bag with ease. But my big surprise is just how comfortable it is! The wide strap is really nice and the padded bit just takes the strain so well. The front cover flaps over the back and tucks out of the way, allowing a great shoot from bag approach. Getting lenses out is so easy and the large front pockets take the caps really well. The front flap has fold back velcro, so i can turn off the velcro sound....nice for wedding services. No more RIPPPP! There's a zillion more features to this bag and you can head over the the Think Tank site for a feature hit. So there's my initial review. Go buy and enjoy, It's the best bag I've used for sure.
